Why this batch
Stage-A batches B4 (signs/mercy/call) and B9 (patience/gratitude/heart) treat these suras at thematic level. They reward per-passage depth because each is a structural theophany — Q 24:35 names God as Light; Q 36 is called by tradition "the heart of the Quran" (recited at deathbeds); Q 55 is the great litany of raḥma with its 31-fold refrain; Q 67 is recited nightly by many believers and is the canonical statement that life is a test.
Translation note
Rodwell verbatim throughout. Untranslatables preserved: raḥma, tawḥīd, fiṭra-cognates, ʿibāda, amāna, al-Raḥmān. Q 36 = sūra Yā-Sīn; the two opening Arabic letters Yā-Sīn are themselves an untranslatable muqaṭṭaʿāt (disjoined letters) Rodwell renders simply "YA. SIN."
Atomic statements — Q 24:35–36, the Light Verse (āyat al-nūr)
Tradition names this the single most parabolic ayah on God's self-disclosure. The image — niche, lamp encased in glass, kindled from a blessed olive "neither of the East nor of the West" — is generative of an entire mystical tradition (Ghazali's Mishkāt al-Anwār).

The Sura's structural device: a recurring refrain — Rodwell renders it "Which then of the bounties of your Lord will ye twain deny?" — addressed to "the two weights" (men and djinn), appearing 31 times in the Sura's 78 ayāt. Stage A (B9) treated this at thematic level; here are the load-bearing ayāt verbatim.
